This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Oh so many things are happening lately that it's hard to keep darn well anything straight. Vi got married today (holy crap!) and I'm really exited for her. I had something like a final exam today in my art of Mexico class and I think I did well, the apartment search is still on and I've been thinking about jobs when I go home. Ugh, I get to go home soon, which is good cause family is nice and bad because too much family is like too much blanket in one's mouth. That's another topic for another day. Things are coming to a full-out run around here and there's so much to do that I end up just chasing my tail. Like, I know I have plenty to do for poetry, which is my next major work load for coming days, but I have no idea what to say. What I need to do, and shall when I don't feel like smothering myself into my bed and never coming out, is have a nice clean... something, and work. I feel like I'm trapped in Mary's writing exercise when she blares all these noises at once and expects us to come up with something. I about puked after that. We are bodies of water and do not like to be shaken. Anyway, beyond chaos, I have had my fill of stupid moments over the last twenty-four hours, including jamming my key into the laundry room door from the inside and having to call security to get it out and successfully twisting my ankle at a gas station. Oh yes. Okay, enough venting for now. Zombie march is coming up in two days and I'll probably have awesome stuff from that to report soon. Also, kittens. Yes.

Cowards will cry 'tis best to fly

than not have fought at all...
Life is good, I think. I just started my second job today, I've been able to see several members of my family recently and my relationship is lovely. Health is a bit iffy, but hey, I have three out of four major aspects of happiness, so I can't complain. I admit I still want to be back in Memphis, but I think I'll survive until August as planned. How are you?
Sorry about the slow response, I kind of forgot about DA here for about a month and could never remember to check up on here until like the middle of the night when my computer was already off and I didn't feel like getting up... So, yeah, sorry about that. In the future I'll try better to keep up with DA.
Anyway, I'm glad to hear that things are going well for you. As for me, things are going pretty well. My summer has been pretty routine: lots of work and lots of wishing I could have taken summer classes... Kayla and I miss you guys though... But yeah, aside from feeling like I'm wasting time by not being in summer school, and the wreck I had 2 weeks ago where I burned my arm and totaled my mom's car (oops), my summer has been alright... and mine and Kayla's 14 month anniversary is on friday, so that's awesome too...
So, what is your second job? And (since I haven't asked in a month), how has this past month been going for you? Also, when do you guys return to Memphis?

It's okay. I kind of expect your replies to come in long time frames. It is your way. Anywho, my second job is at a Dairy Queen on the toll road. The thing that bothers me most about it is dealing with the drama of people who never left their home town. They make me feel like I'm back in high school, which I'm so over. Thing is, most of them aren't even in high school. But I'm gradually winning people over and things are improving weekly. I'm getting more and more tired weekly, too, but that's to be expected. I'm actually surprised you aren't taking summer classes. Why didn't you? And what the crap happened with the car, dude? Are you okay? Was anyone else hurt? I hope not.. I miss you and Kayla quite a bit, too. I should be rolling back into Memphis around the end of August. I'm not sure of the date yet. I think something like the 22nd? No one seems to know when classes start, so it's hard telling. Zack is coming to spend Labor Day weekend with me, so you'll get to meet him the weekend after we're back, I reckon. Congrats on the 14 months! Then again, I'll probably be saying something similar twenty years from now. Or when you guys have to start that number over, only in wedding years. So that's that. Otherwise, all I do is work, with the exception of tomorrow when I'm going to Cedar POint for the day. Woot for rollar coasters. Speaking of which, I should probably sleep. Toodles.
Well we'll be glad to see you and the other art people when you all get back...
But yeah, I'm not taking any summer classes because I need to be working as much as possible this summer so I can try and save more money... I've been watching lectures from MIT on various math topics to try and compensate for not being able to take any real classes... ha ha. Kinda sad, huh?
The wreck: so I was just driving down the road (I was in the middle lane of 3 lanes on my side of the road) and I approached this intersection, and I had a green light. As I got closer this car pulled out into the intersection (from the intersecting road that had the red light) and made a left turn. As soon as I saw her running the red light and trying to turn into my lane I slammed on the brakes (I was going 35mph) and I tried to swerve into the lane to my right to try and avoid a collision but we hit at an angle (corner to corner) and the impact then pushed me into a pick-up truck stopped at the light (positioned on the opposite side of the same road the at fault driver came from). The impact deployed the airbags in my car (which, I should add, served no purpose but burning my arms - I had a 2nd degree burn on my right arm). Actually I say "my car" but really it was my mom's car. She was out of town that week and my engine on my Montero was burning oil and smoking up real bad, so I was driving her car instead... but her car is now totaled. There was not too much damage; no engine or frame damage, only body damage; but since the airbags deployed too it was totaled (because airbags are uber expensive)... So yeah, that sucked. But nobody was hurt (physically), so I guess that's good...

Sword of steel
Held up high
Lightning strikes
From blackened skies
Fallen heroes
In Battle slain
Awaits my arrival
At the gates of
Valhalla
Shields of gold
Valhalla
Great warriors hall
