"Our feet are on earth as we gaze at the heavens." ~Living Myths. That was the inspirational quote that sparked this theme. We as humans are always in search for something, be it a higher being, inspiration, something to believe in or even just meaning for ourselves. Somehow, through a universal connection, our gazes are cast upwards toward the mystery that lies above our world and we ask, "How does that apply to me?" Now, with the technologies that invade our lives, those stars among the great black mass aren't nearly as powerful; just flaming balls of gas. For every question, there seems to be an answer. All but one: Why is it still that we feel pulled towards the abyss that spands the horizon? Why do we still feel the desire to believe when we should already know? I'm not interested in the metaphorical responce to those statements, but rather the feeling connected to the God-shaped holes in us.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
